On 8 December, join hundreds of walkers for an unforgettable 5k route through the streets of central Bristol. As Bristol rent prices rise, the number of families stuck in temporary accommodation soars, and more are stuck sleeping on our streets than ever before. We're taking big steps to raise money and help ensure every family has a warm, safe place to call home.  

Beginning at the Shelter Hub in Brunswick Square, you'll walk through the bustle of Bristol’s central streets. The route takes you past the Christmas markets, along the beautiful Bristol Harbourside and through picturesque College Green, maybe snapping a picture of a Banksy and the lit-up Wills Memorial Building on the way.

Finally, you'll return to the start point via the famous Christmas Steps. 

You'll be surrounded by hundreds of other like-minded Shelter supporters.

This walk is perfect for families, friends, colleagues or solo walkers if you want to spread some festive cheer for a positive cause. Take in the Christmas lights, soak up the atmosphere and be a part of the fight for home this winter.
