Walk for Home Manchester

Walk for Home

I’m taking part in Shelter’s Walk for Home this December, because I believe that home is everything. ❤️

Across the UK, far too many people are facing the devastating effects of the housing emergency. Shelter works tirelessly to defend the right to a safe home and to support people through some of the toughest moments of their lives.

That’s why I’m stepping out to raise money and make a difference.

Whether it’s enjoying the twinkling lights of London’s landmarks, walking through the heart of Manchester, or coming together in Bristol, this event is about community, solidarity and standing up for people facing homelessness this winter.

Every step we take, and every pound raised helps Shelter continue their vital work.

If you can, please support my fundraising or share this page—it really means a lot.

Homeless in Manchester

Tuesday 13th Oct
Across Greater Manchester, thousands of individuals and families are facing the reality of homelessness, living in temporary accommodation, or coping with the constant threat of eviction as housing costs rise. Homelessness isn’t just about rough sleeping—it's an invisible crisis that leaves children growing up without a safe, stable place to call home. That’s why I’m taking on Shelter’s Walk for Home in Manchester. Shelter's local Hub on Watson Street works tirelessly on the frontlines every day, offering emergency advice, legal guidance, and housing support to defend everyone's right to a safe home. By donating to my page, you are helping fund vital services right here in our city so that no one in Manchester has to fight homelessness alone.
