🚶♀️Stepping Up for Those Who Need a Place to Call Home 🏡
❤️ I’m swapping the sofa for my walking shoes this December to take part in Shelter’s Walk for Home in London!👟 Why? Because I believe home is everything and everyone deserves a safe place to call home. 🏡
Sadly, far too many people across the UK are facing the reality of homelessness and the housing emergency. Shelter works tirelessly to defend everyone’s right to a safe home and support people facing some incredibly difficult circumstances.
So, this December, I’ll be pounding the pavements of London to raise money for a cause that really matters. I can’t promise a particularly impressive walking pace or that I won’t be tempted by a festive pit stop along the way! 🎄☕ But I can promise that every step is for a good reason.
Behind the Christmas lights and festive cheer, there are people facing the very real uncertainty of not having a safe place to call home. Shelter is there to help, but they need our support to keep doing that vital work.
