Olivia's Walk for Home

This December, I’ll be taking part in Shelter’s Walk for Home, walking through the night to raise money for people facing homelessness and housing insecurity across the UK.

It’s hard to imagine not having somewhere safe to return to at the end of the day, a place to feel warm, to feel secure, to rest and to simply be. Yet for so many, this is a reality they face every single day.

Home is so much more than four walls and a roof over your head. It’s a feeling of safety, belonging, and having somewhere in the world that is yours. I believe everyone deserves that, and I want to do what I can to help those who are going without it.

By taking part in this walk, I hope to raise money for Shelter and support the tireless work they do for people experiencing homelessness. Every step, especially on a cold December evening, will be a reminder of why this matters. 

It’s easy to take having a safe place to call home for granted, so every donation, big or small, will contribute to Shelter’s incredible, vital work.❤️
