In one of the wealthiest cities in the world, children live in poor and overcrowded housing, often far from their families’ support networks.
I’ve worked with families in temporary accommodation and seen first hand how overcrowding, mould and illness affect children’s health, wellbeing and ability to thrive and develop.
I’m walking 10K across London to raise money for Shelter, supporting children and families facing homelessness. This cause means a lot to me.
In England, 177,530 children are living in temporary accommodation, without a settled place to call home.
